Overview

MariXBioHeal™ Native Marine Type I Collagen was tested for dermal irritation potential using albino rabbits. The study was performed at the Iran National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB) according to ISO 10993-10.

Method

• Species: Albino rabbits (n=3)
• Exposure duration: 72 hours
• Evaluation parameters: Erythema and edema scores at 24h, 48h, and 72h
• Scoring system: Draize method

Results

• All erythema scores: 0
• All edema scores: 0
• Primary Irritation Index (PII):0
• Outcome: Non-irritating

Key Message

MariXBioHeal™ collagen produced no irritation responses, supporting its safe use in biomedical and clinical applications.
